Zukunftstag 2023 @ Wyss Zurich
09-11-2023 – This National Future Day, Wyss Zurich had the pleasure of hosting 24 children at our offices to offer them a glimpse into the various fields of work that we support - robotics, biomedical and regenerative medicine.
Every year in November, Switzerland's school-going children have the opportunity to visit companies and organizations across a variety of industries and fields for a glimpse into the corporate world.
This year, we had the pleasure of hosting 24 children at our offices to offer them a glimpse into the various fields of work that we support - robotics, biomedical and regenerative medicine.
Committed to offering our young talents an exciting day, we started off with the Magic Cube workshop by our outreach project, mint & pepper. Working in teams, the children dived quickly into the problem-solving workshop. The agenda continued with an introduction to our 3D printer and laser cutter from the Biomedical and Robotics Platform followed by a presentation to our latest robotics project, Tethys.
In the afternoon, the children spent time at the Robotics Systems Lab, where the learned how to build their own robots. The program finished off with a presentation from the Regenerative Medicine Technologies platform.
